What We Do
Hope Homecare provides domiciliary care to anyone who needs it – that is, care in their own home environment where they can feel most comfortable, still feel they are making the most of their lives, and continue to be active members of their own community. There are a great number of studies which support the belief that quality of life and health outcomes can be improved with receiving care at home.
This care is not restricted to the elderly. We can help anyone, of any age, who is living with a disability, has become ill, is recovering from surgery, or is otherwise vulnerable and struggling to cope with everyday tasks.
Every individual’s needs are different, so every care service we perform is different, but can usually be thought of as either personal or domestic, or both. Domestic care focuses on shopping, laundry, cleaning – all those little jobs we take for granted, even come to loathe, but that others struggle to complete. Personal care is more about physical well-being, helping with hygiene, continence, medication, and dressing.
Both, however, also play a huge role in the emotional and mental wellbeing of our service users.
We offer a wide range of flexible packages, including:
- Daily visits to provide assistance and support
- 24-hour live-in care
- Night care
- Companionship – either just to provide a friendly face, or accompany service users on social outings, or appointments
- Help shopping – on behalf of a service user, or accompanying them to the shops
- Daily, weekly or monthly domestic support in completing everyday tasks
